Rebreather Introduction: 

Special program to introduce you to Rebreather diving.

This program covers the theory off Oxygen, Semi Closed(SCR) and Completely Closed Rebreathers (CCR).

Workshop to accomplice to dive with the Rebreather unit with you are going to dive in a swimming pool.

Student Pre-Requisites:

Open Water Diver with proof of at least 10 dives logged beyond training dives for Open Water Diver certification.

Semi-Closed Rebreather Diver (Dräger FGT 1/D)

The PADI Semi-Closed Circuit Rebreather course is the ideal course for photographers, cold water divers or anybody wishing to enjoy a quieter dive and closer interaction with marine life. The course is unit specific covering the Dräger FGT1/D.


Student Pre-Requisites:
The student must:
1 - Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization (for this program, a qualifying certification is proof of certification beyond entry level with experience in deep diving and underwater navigation) or as a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification) with proof of at least 10 dives logged beyond training dives for Open Water Diver certification.
2 - Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization (this is defined as proof of enriched air certification that qualifies the diver to use any blend up to 40 percent oxygen).
3 - Minimum age requirement: 15 years.

Semi-Closed Rebreather Diver (Dolphin, Ray, Submatix ST100, Azmuth)

The TDI Semi-Closed Circuit Rebreather course is the ideal course for photographers, cold water divers or anybody wishing to enjoy a quieter dive and closer interaction with marine life. The course is unit specific covering the Dolphin, Ray, Submatix ST100 and the Azimuth.

Student Pre-Requisites:
The student must:
1 - Be a minimum age of fifteen (15).
2 - Have a minimum certification of TDI Nitrox Diver (may be combined in program) or equivalent at the discretion of the instructor.




Inspiration / Evolution Air Diluent CCR Diver

The TDI Inspiration and Evolution (certification depends on unit/electronics used) is your first step into closed circuit rebreather diving and your first truly quiet diving experience. Using the latest in technology CCR’s maximize your gas supply of Nitrox and provide the optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2). During the dives (minimum of six) your TDI Instructor will teach you all the necessary skills to conduct CCR dives to a maximum depth of 40 m / 130 feet.


Student Pre-Requisites:
The student must:
1 - Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).
2 - Show proof of sixty (60) logged open water dives.
3 - Minimum certification of TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver (Advanced Nitrox Diver may be combined with this course) or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI.

Inspiration / Evolution Mixed Gas Diluent CCR Diver

The TDI Inspiration and Evolution Mixed Gas course (certification depends on unit/electronics used) is your next step into closed circuit rebreather diving and with the addition of helium as a diluent gas, it is your opportunity to explore a little deeper. Using the latest in technology CCR’s maximize your gas supply and provide the optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2). During the dives (minimum of six) your TDI Instructor will teach you all the nesscery skills to conduct CCR dives utilizing helium as a diluent gas and oxygen levels as low as 16 percent to a maximum depth of 60 m.

Student Pre-Requisites

The student must:

1.    Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).

2.    Have a verified log of a minimum offifty (50) rebreather hours distributed over a minimum of fifty (50) dives on the specific rebreather. Fifty (50) % deeper than twenty (20) msw. All to be deeper than twenty nine (9) msw. If he diver has fifty (50) hours on another CCR unit recognized by TDI, only twenty five (25) hours are required to be on the specific unit.

3.    Have completed and qualified the TDI Air Diluent Rebreather Course or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI.

Inspiration / Evolution Advanced Mixed Gas Diluent CCR Diver

 The highest level of CCR training that TDI offers, the Inspiration/Evolution Advanced Mixed Gas course will teach you to use the full capabilities of a CCR. With a maximum depth of 100 m this course opens up new wrecks, caves, and walls to explore. This intensive course conducted over seven days will focus on all the elements needed to plan and execute dives to these depths.

The student must:

1.    Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).

2.    Have a verified log of a minimum of one hundred (100) CCR hours distributed over a minimum of one hundred (100) dives on the unit specific CCR. Fifty (50) % of these dives must be deeper than thirty (30) msw. All to be deeper than twenty nine (9) msw. If the diver has one hundred (100) hours on another CCR unit recognized by TDI, only fifty (50) hours are required to be on the Inspiration / Evolution.

3.    Have completed and qualified the TDI Air Diluent CCR Course or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI.
